Urgent Care at Our Bardstown Location
Below is more information about our urgent care services in Bardstown.
What Is Urgent Care?
Urgent care is an innovative, new form of health care. Its main purpose is to give more people a higher level of access to medical professionals. Many communities are underserved in that there aren’t a sufficient number of physicians’ offices — their hours of operation are also often limited. Additionally, most health conditions don’t warrant a trip to the ER, a very costly service.
Millions of Americans use urgent care facilities now because they are the best alternative to traditional forms of healthcare.

What Are the Benefits of Fast Pace Health Urgent Care?
Accessible
We are easy to get to and aim to help you no matter your situation. Simply walk in when we’re open and we’ll get the process started.
Flexible Hours
We know how hard it can be to find the time to get to an appointment. That’s why we strive to have hours that are as flexible as possible. On top of that, we offer hours on weekends because issues never seem to come up at convenient times.
Fast
Sitting in a waiting room at a doctor’s office can eat up a lot of time, especially at busier times. We aim to remove all the downtime from the equation — you’ll be speaking with a provider in no time and they’ll have you out and on your way as fast as possible.
Affordable
We don’t want the quality of care you receive to be dependent on your economic status. That’s why we offer affordable options to all — talk to one of our representatives about how we can help if you’re paying without insurance.
Quality Care
Our health care providers are great at what they do. Not only are they highly qualified in their respective areas of medicine, but they are compassionate and dedicated to personalized care.
When To Go to an Emergency Room
Although urgents cars can be a better alternative to emergency rooms, there are certain conditions in which you should go straight to a hospital — they are better trained to handle life-threatening situations.
The most common examples of medical emergencies are:
- Any loss of consciousness
- Seizures and convulsions
- Deep wounds with uncontrollable bleeding
- Issues with a pregnancy
- Severe burns
- Poisoning
- Significant head, neck, or back injuries
- Severe abdominal pain or chest pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Heart attack and stroke symptoms
- Suicidal or homicidal thoughts
