About Chattanooga | Urgent Care
When you have a condition that requires urgent medical attention
We’ll help you start feeling better faster, from your couch or a clinic near you.
You can’t circle an injury on a calendar, and there’s simply no way to plan for them — that’s why they’re called accidents. The same goes for illness. No one wakes up and decides they’d like to be sick for the day. At Fast Pace Health, we understand injuries, accidents, and illnesses can happen at any time, day or night. But we got you covered.
Our team of highly qualified healthcare providers offers fast, compassionate, and cost-effective care for your everyday illnesses or injuries. Our Chattanooga, TN walk-in urgent care clinic is located on Brainerd St.
Get Fast, Compassionate Care When You Need It
At Fast Pace Health, our highly-skilled team of healthcare professionals strives to make our urgent care centers accessible for all. Urgent care makes a great option for you and your family when you don’t have time to spare.
With our ability to service non-life-threatening needs closer to home, we’ve eliminated the need to travel to a hospital or emergency room far away. Emergency room departments see millions of people every year. The majority of these ER visits are for minor injuries and illnesses. Urgent care helps lessen the load for busy ER departments, giving them more time to focus on life-threatening emergencies.
We also help provide an option when your primary care appointments are still days away. Extended waits can make same-day access to medical care very challenging for many people. Plus, most primary care offices don’t offer care after 5 p.m. — our Chattanooga, Tennessee urgent care clinic is open until 8 p.m. on weekdays so you can get immediate care when you need it.
Local urgent care centers can also help serve those in rural areas. We seek to provide excellent urgent care, education, and accessibility to those who may live far from hospitals or primary care offices.
Benefits of Fast Pace Health Urgent Care
Let’s take a quick look to highlight some of the many benefits of choosing Fast Pace Health’s Chattanooga location for your and your family’s urgent care needs.
Fast Care
ER wait times can be a drag. When you have a minor injury or illness, you could find yourself waiting for hours. The reason for this is patient triage. Emergency rooms are not first come, first serve. They treat the most critical patients first. At Fast Pace Health, you can expect to wait around 15 minutes or less to be seen by one of our healthcare professionals.
Flexible Hours
Most primary care offices are only open during the weekdays and only during business hours. For many people, this can make things difficult when you’re trying to schedule things around work or school. Thankfully, we offer flexible hours at our Chattanooga urgent care center. Plus, we’re open seven days a week. No appointment required. Just walk in or save your spot in line today.
Affordable Care for You and Your Family
At Fast Pace Health, we seek to make quality urgent care accessible for all. On average, emergency room visits tend to have a much higher cost than urgent care. We accept most private insurance plans and even offer self-pay options for those without insurance.
Get Care From the Comfort of Home With Telehealth Services
In addition, our Chattanooga urgent care center is now offering virtual care from the comfort of your home through our telehealth servicefor new and existing patients. With our telemedicine services, you’ll receive the same quality care as you would at one of our walk-in clinics — but you get to enjoy it from the comfort of your home.
Our telehealth providers are able to provide care for many common illnesses. Also, with telehealth, we can prescribe and refill many of the most common medications. Our telehealth hours are flexible too. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT, and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. CT. There is no need for an appointment.
What We Treat at Our Chattanooga Location
Urgent care centers are set up to handle minor injuries, accidents, and illnesses. Let’s take a look at some of the most common conditions that could bring you through our front doors at our Chattanooga location.
Cold and Flu Symptoms
There are over 200 different viruses that can cause the common cold, and colds are the number one reason people miss work and school. Cold and respiratory infection symptoms also bring millions of people into their primary care professional’s office annually.
We’ve all experienced the symptoms — the runny nose, the sneezing, the sore throat, and the coughing. Oh, and we can treat fevers too. Cold symptoms often overlap with flu symptoms. However, a fever is typically a tell-tale sign of the flu, along with body aches and fatigue.
Our urgent care clinics are set up to handle the various symptoms of the common cold and the flu with short wait times.
We Treat Symptoms like Nausea & Vomiting Too
Stomach viruses can cause many uncomfortable gastrointestinal issues, including nausea and vomiting. Food poisoning also does the same. But don’t worry, our urgent care centers are here to help when nausea and vomiting have you down in the dumps.
If your symptoms have lasted more than 24 hours or you cannot hold down food or liquid, it’s time to visit us. In many cases, treatments for nausea and vomiting include IV fluids and a prescription for anti-nausea medications.
Minor Injuries: Burns, Stitches, and Broken Bones
When most people break a bone, sprain an ankle, or accidentally cut themselves, they immediately think about visiting the hospital emergency room. While these have traditionally been the place to seek care for accidents and injuries, urgent care centers help lift the burden laid on many ERs by treating minor injuries.
From stitches to mild burns to broken bones or sprained ankles, we are here to help get you back on the road to recovery. Of course, the severity of the injury does matter. Major burns, severe lacerations, compound fractures, and major traumas all require immediate emergency medical attention.
When To Go to an Emergency Room
In many cases, urgent care services offer a better option than an emergency room for those with minor injuries or illnesses. But, there are some potentially life-threatening medical emergencies that require immediate treatment from an emergency room, including:
- Major trauma and bleeding
- OB complications
- Loss of consciousness
- Seizures or convulsions
- Difficulty breathing
- Heart attack or stroke symptoms
- Severe burns
- Poisoning
- Severe abdominal pain or chest pain
- Suicidal or homicidal thoughts
