Fast Pace Is Here When Care Can’t Wait
At Fast Pace Health, our committed healthcare professionals and dedicated staff strive to ensure our urgent care centers are accessible for all. We seek to provide fast, quality medical care when you need it. This includes immediate care for a variety of non-life-threatening conditions.
An Alternative to Primary Care Appointments
It can be quite a hassle trying to schedule an appointment with your primary care provider. In some cases, you could be waiting for days just to be seen.
That isn’t always an option when sickness has you missing work or school. Urgent care helps solve the problem of far-off primary care appointments.
Aside from the headaches that come with getting and scheduling primary care appointments, office hours don’t always line up with your needs. Most primary care offices simply don’t have after-hours care.
Thankfully, our Clinton urgent care medical clinic goes beyond the standard nine to five. We offer after-hours care until 8 p.m. on weekdays. We’re open seven days a week. No appointment required. Just walk in or save your spot in line today.
If you are looking for primary care options, we do offer primary care at some select Fast Pace Health locations. Our primary care services include preventive care, women’s health, disease management, lab work, immunizations, and more.
A Solution to Crowded Emergency Rooms
With our ability to service non-life-threatening needs closer to home, we’ve eliminated the need to travel to a hospital or emergency room far away. There are hundreds of millions of emergency room visits every year. In many cases, these visits are for minor illnesses and injuries, and most are not even admitted.
With such a yearly influx of people, it is easy to see why hospital emergency room departments are so crowded. That’s where urgent care centers can help.
Urgent care clinics are set up on a first-come, first-serve basis. This isn’t true of hospital emergency departments.
They triage patients based on the severity of the injury or illness. This means you could find yourself waiting for hours to get seen for minor injuries or illnesses.
At Fast Pace Health, the average wait time at our clinics is around 15 minutes, although it is often less.
Another advantage is the lower costs of urgent care. Emergency rooms tend to cost much more than urgent care clinics. At Fast Pace Health, we accept most private insurance plans and offer self-pay options for those without insurance.
When to Choose the ER
Urgent care does have many advantages when dealing with non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses. But, it is important to understand that some medical conditions require immediate intervention from an emergency room.
These can include, but are not limited to:
- Seizures
- Severe chest pains
- Trauma and uncontrolled bleeding
- OB complications
- Life-threatening conditions
Our Telehealth Services
In addition, our Clinton urgent care center is now offering virtual care from the comfort of your home through our telehealth service. These virtual services are similar to quality care services you’ll receive at one of our urgent care clinics, but they’re provided in the comfort of your own home.

What We Treat at Our Clinton Urgent Care Location
At Fast Pace Health, we staff our urgent care centers with a knowledgeable staff of highly-trained healthcare professionals. They’re able to provide urgent care for a variety of minor illnesses and injuries. Let’s look at some of the most common conditions we can address at our Fast Pace Health Clinton, Tennessee location.
We Treat Minor Burns, Broken Bones, and More
Bruises, scrapes, cuts, minor burns, and broken bones make up a large portion of emergency room visits. Thankfully, our urgent care clinics are ready and able to help many of these common injuries.
For example, urgent care clinics are to treat most cases of mild burns. These include first-degree burns anywhere on the body or second-degree burns less than two or three inches in circumference.
Stitches? No problem. Concussions? Yep, we handle that too.
We are able to handle most non-life-threatening injuries mentioned above. However, life-threatening injuries require immediate emergency medical attention. Some of these may include third-degree or severe burns, severe lacerations, compound fractures, and other severe traumas.
Treatment for Cold and Flu Symptoms
In terms of illnesses, the common cold is responsible for millions of primary care office visits every year. In fact, cold symptoms are the number one reason for missed school and work. Classic cold symptoms include sneezing, coughing, nasal congestion, and more.
Unfortunately, without proper treatment, these symptoms can drag on for a long time, which is bad news if your primary care appointment is still days away. We can also handle flu symptoms.
Cold and flu symptoms are very similar. However, the flu can also cause symptoms like fever, body aches, and fatigue.
At Fast Pace Health, our urgent care centers can help diagnose, treat, and manage your cold and flu symptoms to help you get back to school or work. We can also provide COVID-19 testing and antibody testing to help you make informed choices regarding coronavirus exposure.
Relief From Nausea and Vomiting
We also treat gastrointestinal conditions. Other common conditions that bring people to the emergency room are stomach viruses and food poisoning. These conditions can cause symptoms like nausea and vomiting.
No one wants to spend hours in a hospital ER dealing with these symptoms. Thankfully, with urgent care, you don’t have to. If nausea and vomiting symptoms last more than 24 hours or you find yourself unable to hold down any food or liquids, it’s time to come see us.
We Provide Treatment for Common Infections Too
Our Fast Pace Health walk-in clinics can also treat many common infections, including ear infections, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and pink eye (conjunctivitis). These make up a good bulk of primary care office visits.
The good news is that many of these common infections are treatable with prescription antibiotics. No need to sit around in a busy emergency room waiting for treatment.
