Faster Care for You and Your Family

At Fast Pace Health, our urgent care medical centers, are open seven days a week with no appointment required. Plus, we have minimal wait times, whichmakes our urgent care centers great options for those who don’t have time to waste.

We seek to provide quality urgent care, education, and accessibility to all, even those who may live far away from hospital emergency rooms or their primary care physician. In fact, we know how important urgent care is for those living in rural areas.

Sometimes care can’t wait. That’s why our urgent care clinics make a great alternative for far-off primary care visits that are still days away. Also, many primary care offices aren’t open after 5 p.m.

At Fast Pace Health, we have you covered. Our health centers offer after-hours care when those late-night illnesses and minor injuries occur.

For those looking for primary care, we do offer them at select Fast Pace Health locations. Our primary care includes services like preventive care, women’s health, disease management, lab work, immunizations, and more.

An Emergency Room Alternative

Hospital emergency rooms have a tough task. Emergency rooms are flooded with millions of visits every year. Simply put, the high volume makes for high-stress waiting rooms.

Thankfully, urgent care centers offer a solution to busy emergency rooms. Our walk-in clinics provide an effective alternative to crowded hospital emergency room departments. Patient triage is a key difference between urgent care and emergency rooms.

Emergency room departments are equipped and set up to treat the most critical patients first. Arrival order doesn’t matter — they’re not set up as a first-come, first-serve type of care.

Patients are treated based on the severity of their injuries or illness first and foremost. That means you could find yourself waiting in an emergency room waiting room for hours to get that ear infection looked at.

Thankfully, our urgent care clinics are set up as first come, first serve. You can expect to wait around 15 minutes to see one of our healthcare providers — sometimes, less than that.

Emergency room departments are still crucial for those with serious, life-threatening conditions. So, it is important to know when an emergency room is appropriate. Some common reasons for visiting a hospital emergency room can include, but are not limited to:

  • Seizures
  • Major trauma and bleeding
  • Severe chest pains
  • OB complications
  • Life-threatening conditions

The Cost of Emergency Rooms

The longer waits is not the only drawback of emergency rooms. In many cases, emergency room visits will cost much more than a visit to an urgent care clinic. At Fast Pace Health, we accept most private insurance plans and offer self-pay options for those without insurance.

What We Treat at Our Corinth Location

At Fast Pace Health, all of our urgent care center locations are staffed with highly-trained healthcare professionals and fully equipped to provide you and your family with urgent care for a variety of illnesses and injuries.

Let’s take a look at some of the most common conditions we can address at our Fast Pace Health Corinth, Mississippi location.

Allergic Reactions

One of the most common reasons for visits to primary care offices is seasonal allergies. You’ve probably experienced it before: the itchy, watery eyes, the runny nose, and the sneezing that won’t seem to stop. They’re one of the most common medical conditions.

While allergies to pollen in the air are the most common type of allergy, they aren’t the only type. Allergies to food, insect bites, pet dander, and mold are also common. Thankfully, our urgent care centers are equipped to handle mild to moderate allergic reactions.

However, if you’re experiencing a serious allergic reaction like anaphylaxis, then immediate emergency medical attention is required.

Nausea and Vomiting

Stomach virus symptoms make their rounds every year. Some of the most common symptoms include nausea and vomiting, along with other gastrointestinal issues. Some other causes of nausea and vomiting, aside from stomach viruses, include food poisoning.

But no need to worry, our urgent care clinics are here to help when nausea and vomiting symptoms get you down. If your symptoms have lasted more than 24 hours or you find it difficult to hold down food or liquid, then stop by and see us.

Our highly-skilled healthcare professionals are trained to help treat your symptoms of nausea and vomiting. Some common treatment interventions include the prescription of anti-nausea medications and administering IV fluids.

Common Infections

Urgent care clinics are a great emergency room alternative for those seeking relief from common infections. These common infections include urinary tract infections (UTIs), conjunctivitis (pink eye), and ear infections.

UTIs are very common. They are marked by pain and burning during urination, frequent urination, and more. Ear infections and pink eye are some of the most common reasons for ER visits. The latter is known for causing redness, itchiness, and swelling to the eye.

Thankfully, with the right medication and treatment, these common infections are completely treatable. Our urgent care centers and team of healthcare professionals are ready to help get you on the road to recovery when infections rear their ugly heads.

Some More Injuries and Illnesses We Treat

Do you need a physical in preparation for a sports season or an annual physical for next school year? We’ve got you covered.

At Fast Pace Health, we offer convenient, affordable wellness and sports physicals. No appointment is required. We also provide:

Check out Our Behavioral Health Services

Some of our Fast Pace Health locations also staff nurse practitioners who specialize in treatment for individuals with behavioral health issues. These health conditions include depression, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, and some psychiatric disorders.

We Also Offer Telehealth Services

Good news: We’re also offering telehealth services for both new and existing patients. These services are similar to the services you’d receive at one of our urgent care clinics, but they’re provided in the comfort of your own home.

Aside from providing care for some of the conditions mentioned above, our telehealth services can also prescribe and/or refill many common medications associated with them.

Telehealth hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m CT, and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. CT. There is no appointment required.
