Fast, Quality Urgent Care for You and Your Family
Urgent care makes a great option when care can’t wait. At Fast Pace Health, our highly-trained healthcare professionals and dedicated staff work to ensure our urgent care clinics are accessible for all. We seek to provide a dedicated patient experience and fast, quality urgent care for a variety of non-life-threatening conditions.
An Alternative to Crowded ERs
Hospital emergency rooms across the country serve millions of patients every year. Most people that visit ERs are seeking treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.
In fact, the vast majority of emergency room patients don’t even get admitted. Thankfully, urgent care centers can help lessen the buildup of busy emergency room departments.
With our ability to service non-life-threatening needs closer to home, we’ve eliminated the need to travel to a hospital or a crowded emergency room far away.
While emergency room departments triage patients based on the severity of their injury or illness, urgent care clinics treat patients on a first-come, first-serve basis. This means you could spend much less time waiting to be seen by a medical professional.
In fact, at Fast Pace Health, our average wait time is around 15 minutes or less. Costs tend to be much lower at urgent care centers as well, as compared to hospital emergency rooms. At Fast Pace Health, we accept most private insurance plans and offer self-pay options for those without insurance.
Urgent Care for Rural Areas
Urgent care clinics are also a great resource for those who live in rural areas. At our local urgent care centers, we seek to provide quality urgent care, family medicine, education, and accessibility for those who may be far from hospital emergency rooms.
When It’s Time To Go to the Emergency Room
It is important to understand that urgent care centers are set up to deal with non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses. So, some medical conditions will still require immediate intervention from an emergency room.
These conditions include, but are not limited to:
- Seizures
- OB complications
- Severe chest pains
- Trauma and uncontrolled bleeding
- Compound fractures
- Severe burns
- Anaphylaxis
- Life-threatening conditions
Primary Care
Our Iuka medical clinic goes beyond the standard workday hours of most primary care offices. We offer urgent care services until 8 p.m. on weekdays — and we’re open seven days a week. Also, there is no appointment required.
Aside from extended hours, our urgent care clinics make a great alternative when those primary care appointments are still days away. Waiting days to be seen isn’t always an option when illnesses have you sidelined from school or work. Thankfully, urgent care helps solve this problem so that you can find a doctor whenever medical issues arise.
If you are in the market or looking for a primary care option, Fast Pace Health does offer primary care at some select locations. These services include preventive care, women’s health, disease management, lab work, immunizations, and much more.

What We Treat at Our Iuka Urgent Care Location
At Fast Pace Health, you’ll get quality urgent care from our highly-trained staff of knowledgeable healthcare professionals. We provide quality urgent care for a variety of minor injuries and illnesses. Let’s take a look at some of the most common conditions we can address at our Fast Pace Health Iuka, Mississippi location.
We Provide Treatment for Common Infections
Urgent care centers make a great alternative to crowded ERs and busy primary care offices for those looking for relief from infections, including urinary tract infections (UTIs), conjunctivitis (pink eye), and ear infections.
UTIs are a very common infection marked by pain and burning during urination, as well as frequent urination. Other infections, like ear infections and pink eye, are some of the most common reasons for primary care visits. Pink eye is an infection that causes redness, itchiness, and swelling in the eye.
Thankfully, with the right treatment and antibiotics, these types of infections are treatable. Our healthcare professionals are trained and equipped to help get you on the road to recovery when infections get you down.
Nausea and Vomiting
Stomach virus symptoms make their rounds annually. It also brings some unpleasant gastrointestinal conditions symptoms, including nausea and vomiting. Aside from stomach viruses, food poisoning is another possible cause of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea symptoms.
Imagine spending two hours in a crowded ER waiting to be seen while dealing with those symptoms. No fun.
Thankfully, our urgent care clinics can help treat nausea and vomiting. So, if your symptoms have lasted more than 24 hours or you find it difficult to hold down food, come see us for fast, quality treatment.
Our healthcare professionals are trained to help manage and treat symptoms of nausea and vomiting. Some treatment interventions include anti-nausea medications, IV fluids, and more.
Minor Injuries: Burns, Lacerations, and Fractures
For those seeking care for burns, cuts, and broken bones, the emergency room has traditionally been the place to seek care. However, urgent care centers are also equipped to handle cases of minor injury.
For example, minor fractures often require splinting, bracing, and pain management, all of which we can handle at our clinics. We also treat minor burns. These include first-degree burns anywhere on the body or second-degree burns less than two or three inches in circumference.
While we are able to treat minor broken bones, minor burns, and bumps to the head, more serious injuries may require immediate emergency intervention at an ER. These could include third-degree burns, compound fractures, and major trauma.
What Else Do We Treat?
The above medical conditions are just a few of the reasons that bring people through our doors at Fast Pace Health — but they certainly aren’t the only reasons.
At our urgent care centers, we can also treat:
- Cold and flu symptoms
