What Is Urgent Care?

Urgent care is a type of health care that sits between private practices (doctors/physicians) and emergency room departments in hospitals. It is dedicated to treating health matters that are not life-threatening, but also may not be able to wait a few days. Urgent care centers are advantageous to many Americans for their better accessibility and affordability over the standard options.

Many underserved communities across the United States are benefiting from this new choice in health care, and their reliable convenience is causing more and more to open every year.

  • Deep wounds with uncontrollable bleeding
  • Issues during pregnancy
  • Severe burns

Below is more information about our telehealth services in Lebanon.

What Is Telehealth?

There is now a way to “visit” with your provider from the comfort of your own home. It’s done using a new group of technologies that are generally referred to as “telehealth.” With just a smartphone, tablet, or computer, you can gain access to your personal medical records and schedule live video chats within a portal.

What Conditions Does Telehealth Treat?

Telehealth is best suited for more minor illnesses and issues, specifically ones that usually just require advice and medication. Receiving care remotely can also really come in handy if you are working with a provider to monitor a more long-term condition.

I always have a great experience with Fast Pace. They get me in a timely manner, ask lots of questions and are always so attentive. Well I ended up injuring my back and when I went to Vanderbilt ER (because i was hurting so bad it made … More me physically sick) in Lebanon the guy in triage told me since I'm allergic to tylenol and ibuprofen there is nothing they can do for me. Just go home and put ice on it. Didn't check my back or nothing. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Then he prescribed me an NSAID topical cream after being told I was ALLERGIC! They were pathetic. Fast Pace has always been amazing to me though. They are thorough and just so nice and caring.

Great service with smiling, friendly staff. Provider Tiffany took time to sit down and discuss options to determine the best course of action for me. I will gladly return and refer others as a great place for healthcare!
