The providers we select are not only highly trained experts, they share our vision for healthcare — the prioritization of the patient’s unique needs and improvement of the community’s overall health.
When To Go to an Emergency Room
Most of the time, an urgent care facility is the more advantageous choice when you’re facing a health problem. However, they are not the right destination if your health condition is life-threatening. Only hospitals and emergency room departments are designed to handle these situations.
Some common examples of medical emergencies are:
- Loss of consciousness
- Seizures or convulsions
- Deep wounds with uncontrollable bleeding
- Issues during pregnancy
- Severe burns
- Life-threatening injuries
- Poisoning
- Severe abdominal pain or chest pain
- Difficulty breathing
- Heart attack or stroke symptoms
- Suicidal or homicidal thoughts
Telehealth at Our Red Bank Location
Below is more information about our telehealth services in Red Bank.
What Is Telehealth?
Telehealth is growing immensely in popularity and is now a reliable avenue of healthcare for many. It allows patients to speak with their providers via “video chat” from any location. These technologies also allow you to access your medical records via a portal — it can be done with any smartphone, tablet, or computer.
What Conditions Does Telehealth Treat?
If you’re dealing with a condition that does not need to be treated in person, like a broken bone or a cut that may require stitches, telehealth can most likely help. Most of the time, flu and cold symptoms, viruses, infections, rashes, allergies, and other common ailments can be helped by simply speaking with someone (providers can also virtually call in prescriptions for you).
Telehealth is also a great option if you are monitoring a more long-term condition with a provider — you won’t need to make repeated trips to the clinic.
Benefits of Telehealth at Fast Pace Health
Every day, we have many time slots available for virtual visits. It’s easy to set one up on our website — just register in your home state and follow the instructions.
